Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Food Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years in food product development experience from bench top to commercialization
- Minimum of 1 year in managing multiple projects across technical programs
- Minimum of 1 year in managing personnel
Job Description:
- To carry on new product development, process and profit improvement projects
- Lead a team of R&D Junior Specialists and provide necessary technical support to team members, customers and operations
- Actively participate in technical programs and management of personnel
- Prepare/review product prototypes compliant with regulatory agencies
- Prepare/review product costing analysis to ensure that products are within the target cost
- Develop and carry out standard procedures in the conduct of product quality and product acceptability tests
- Test and select ingredients and packaging materials for specific projects
- Establish and document product and process specifications
- Conduct literature searches or accesses international databases related to assigned projects
