RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Job Description:

  • Develop product formulations and lead R&D trials for new product development, improvement, or cost optimization.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, and performance tests to validate product quality and stability.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, trial reports, and process guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, QA, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to align on project timelines and product specifications.
  • Support regulatory and technical requirements, including sourcing of new ingredients and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, or related field; advanced studies or training is an advantage.
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in product development, formulation, or R&D in the food or consumer goods industry.
  • Solid understanding of food science principles, processing methods, and shelf-life evaluation.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and technical writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with lab equipment and product testing protocols.
